Why one needs to have written room lease agreement

Many people rent out a room in their home to make money from unused space. It is very important to create a room lease agreement before you rent the room to an outside person. Oral contract is made for a month stay, but if the tenant is interested in staying for a longer period of time, you should choose a written room lease agreement instead of the oral agreement. This is mainly because oral agreements are difficult to prove and if the landlord has to face any sort of legal issues, it will become difficult for both the tenant and homeowner. So a signed room rental agreement remains a wise choice to protect both house owner and tenant.
